Winter time is the best time for a candlemaker!  The holidays are a fantastic whirlwind. Hey, hey! Summer is in full swing.  I love the busy, social, and (occasionally) carefree ease of June through July.   Summer brings my favorite smells of coconut, pineapple, lemon, sunscreen, and floral.  Summer candles are my favorites to make.  I've made it to a few markets to sell products,  but I've spent the majority of my nights and weekends at the various ballparks in this region watching softball and baseball. January.   When you're a Nebraskan, it's a month you just "get through" right? I like to take the first week after the New Year to reflect, reset, regroup.  It's my reward after a fun filled, rest deprived Holiday season.  Then I get moving! In the 3 years I've been growing my candle business I now really look forward to January.  I use this month to work on my summer line, brainstorm creative labels, assess the fruits of my labor from the business standpoint and to organize and make my candle making studio tidy and full of candles again.   As each...
